1 CLIENT INFORMATION

By using the web site you agree to the listed terms and conditions. This does not affect your statutory rights.

a) HOW TO PAY
Madhouse Music are pleased to accept the following credit/debit cards: Any form of VISA, MasterCard, Euro Card, Connect, Maestro, Solo, Delta and JCB. When paying by any of these cards please quote the card number, expiry date and (if applicable) the issue number. Unfortunately we cannot accept Cirrus, Electron or Amex cards.

We also accept payment by cheque, postal order, (or cash in UK Sterling, Euro or dollars), sent by Registered post only), or International Money Order (In Pounds Sterling ONLY).

In order to compensate for high credit card fees, there is a small surcharge for orders under £9.99 on a credit card (currently £0.75). For your protection, all credit card transactions are routed through our secure server. This means that any information sent to us is encrypted rendering it unreadable to a third party.

b) CURRENCY
All our sales are in Pounds Sterling. The actual cost to you will be the Pounds Sterling charged to your credit / charge card converted to your local currency by your card provider on the day that your account is charged. For your convenience there is a currency converter on the navigation bar, which will give an estimated price in your local currency.

c) DELIVERY
All deliveries are made through Royal Mail. Non UK orders are sent by airmail as standard. A Courier service is sometimes used for heavy, very urgent or unusually shaped items. Please assume that all orders have been shipped unless we contact you. You should allow 28 days for delivery; however feel free to contact us at any time if your order has not arrived within one week (UK), and two weeks anywhere else. We can accommodate any special postage requirements that you have (express, next day etc.) at your cost. Please note all orders over £60 are sent insured as standard (and are mailed by next day delivery in the UK, and registered mail elsewhere); this service costs an additional £5.

d) ADDITIONAL COSTS
There are no hidden costs. The price displayed at the point of checkout includes packing, transit and all normal delivery charges. All orders exceeding £60 sterling will have a fee of £5 added for insurance. This insures your order against loss. Additionally you may add this insurance to any order; it automatically includes registration; please advise us at the time of placing the order. TAX For UK and all other European Union consumers the price includes sales tax (i.e. Value Added Tax). Orders to consumers in other countries are shipped tax-free and so the recipient is responsible for all duties, sales taxes and other local charges.

e) GUARANTEE
Our sole priority is for you to be delighted with the service from Madhouse Music. However, if your order is either incorrect or contains faulty goods we will replace them (subject to availability) without question, or give you a full refund (including postage costs paid by you as part of the initial order). If the total of your order is over £30 we advise using registered mail. This incurs an additional fee of £5 to any destination. It not only fully insures the contents, but also includes next day delivery in the UK. In all cases of refund or replacement, the item's immediate wrapping must be intact (i.e. CDs etc must be unopened). Once we receive any returned item(s), we will issue a refund or replacement as appropriate. Please note that items must be returned within 28 days of receipt in order for them to qualify for a refund. We have made every effort to accurately present our product. However, because what you see on the web site will depend on a number of factors (e.g. your monitor) there may be slight variations from what you see displayed.

f) RETURN OF GOODS PROCEDURE
If you are in any way unhappy with the services provided by Madhouse Music, please do not return the goods, but first contact customer services at:

g) PRODUCT GRADING
All records, CDs, DVDs and tapes and are graded by a system based on the strict criteria of Record Collector Magazine. Most are graded visually. The majority of items are 'brand new'. The main catagories are UNP (Unplayed), M (Mint), EX (Excellent), VG (Very Good), G (Good), P (Poor).

h) CUSTOMER INFORMATION POLICY
Madhouse Music collects customer information to improve our overall service. We recognise that we must retain this responsibly. All information is collected lawfully and in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. We may use such information for our own marketing and promotional purposes, but will never sell or provide customer information to any third party.

i) COOKIES POLICY
Madhouse Music uses some limited cookies, during the shopping process. We do not store any information on your computer, or any details of the user, nor do we track the user in any way. The only cookies used are for the storage of customer address details, which negates the need to input the details on a subsequent visit.

2 TERMS AND CONDITIONS

a) CONDITIONS OF WEB SITE USE
Your use of this web site and shop and of the information contained within it, will be governed by English law and will be deemed to have occurred in the United Kingdom. The display of information on the web site is not an offer but an invitation to treat. A potential purchaser's response will constitute an offer to purchase and Madhouse Music reserves the right to decline any offer made. No offer will be accepted until goods are dispatched. Madhouse Music reserves the right to revise these terms and conditions from time to time.

b) COPYRIGHT
The trademarks logos, service marks and other materials of our site including but not limited to all visual images and text are the property of Madhouse Music. Use of any of the forgoing marks or materials without written consent is prohibited. Site content is protected by copyright law and therefore any copying, distribution, transmission or any other use of site content for any purposes whatsoever, other than for private and personal use, is prohibited.

c) DISCLAIMER
Price and availability information is subject to change without notice. Except as specifically stated on this web site, to the fullest extent permitted at law, neither Madhouse Music nor any of its affiliates, directors, employees or other representatives will be liable for damages arising out of or in connection with the use of this web site. This is a comprehensive limitation of liability that applies to all damages of any kind, including, (without limitation), compensatory, direct, indirect or consequential damages, loss of data, income or profit, loss of or damage to property and claims of third parties. For the avoidance of doubt, Madhouse Music does not limit its liability for death or personal injury, to the extent only that it arises as a result of the negligence of Madhouse Music, its affiliates, directors, employees or other representatives.

METHODS OF PAYMENT IMPORTANT NOTES! All items can be reserved for SEVEN days (UK) / FOURTEEN days (Overseas). If you do reserve items, please send the payment within this time, or notify us otherwise, to avoid confusion and possible embarrassment. We always aim to dispatch in-stock goods within 24 hours! Posting receipts are kept of all orders sent. All records are sent in strong, quality packaging and marked ‘FRAGILE DO NOT BEND’
